I want to call a strata committee meeting. How do I do this?

Schedule 2, clauses 4 and 5 of the Strata Schemes Management Act 2015 (NSW) provides two ways to call for a strata committee meeting:

  1. The secretary convenes one at any time; and
  2. One third of the committee members ask for one to be held.

Every member of the Strata Committee must be given at least 3 days’ notice and the detailed agenda for the meeting by the secretary. If there are more than 100 lots in a strata scheme, the notice must be posted on the noticeboard and delivered to all owners.

Some Notice boards are better at hiding than displaying notices.
