New Strata Law legislation and associated regulations became effective in NSW on 30 November 2016. All Strata Schemes are affected in one way or another. Any website (including this one) which refers to the 1996 Strata Schemes Management Act has been superseded and the law may have changed. To ensure that you are up to date with NSW’s new strata laws  you should check the information against the new law. The new acts are the Strata Schemes Management Act 2015 and the Strata Schemes Development Act 2015.
